Organisations & Businesses in the Community

Coberley is a rural community spanning some areas of outstanding natural beauty in the Cotswolds.

It is therefore, as one would expect, home to farms and other rural organisations as well as educational establishments and businesses which have settled in our Parish.

Ullenwood Bharat Cricket Club  plays on the cricket ground opposite the “Air Balloon” Public House at Crickley Hill Country Park.

It is believed that Ullenwood, as a club has been playing on the ground since the late 1880’s and is mentioned in a book written by a well known cricket author as one of the most beautiful 100 grounds in the country. It has now merged with Bharat Sport CC and is now known as Ullenwood Bharat CC. It is in the hopeful process of greatly improving its facilities.

It is a very multi-racial friendly team with playing members from various islands of the Caribbean, Pakistan, India, Afghanistan and South Africa, as well as the home countries. It will be fielding 2 County League Saturday sides, a 3rd. Saturday side playing at King George V playing field in Hucclecote and a Sunday side plus various mid week and evening games. It welcomes new players, supporters and visitors.
