Coberley Parish Council is profoundly saddened to learn of the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, our longest-serving monarch.
On behalf of the residents of our Parish, we offer our deepest sympathies to the Royal Family.
As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate her selfless devotion during an extraordinary lifetime of service to the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.
Hers was one of the most remarkable reigns in the history of the British monarchy. She was a constant in a changing world, astute and wise, embodying the best of the British spirit, a guiding light whose reputation, strong sense of duty, decency and compassion earned respect internationally.
As the crown passes to King Charles III, we affirm our allegiance to him and wish him a long and successful reign.
